Meet your San Francisco Bay Area photographer

Hi, I'm Genna

Let’s create something real, beautiful, and completely you.

Hi, I’m Genna — a Bay Area photographer, a mama to three incredible kids (ages 11, 9, and 5), and wife to Chauncey. We've been married for over 10 years, and our life is filled with the beautiful chaos that comes with raising a family. That’s what fuels my work — I know firsthand how quickly time moves and how important it is to capture the heart of the season you’re in.

Focused on story-telling and connection

I specialize in family, couples, senior portraits, & branding

My photography style is warm, light-filled, and editorial, with a focus on storytelling and real connection. Whether we’re documenting the joy of a wedding at SF City Hall or a quiet family moment in golden-hour light, I’m drawn to the unscripted — the beauty in the not-so-perfect, everyday magic.
I believe the best images come from a space where you feel comfortable, seen, and celebrated. You’ll get a mix of the timeless portraits you love and the candid moments you never saw coming.

Work with Me

My belief is that every person should be framed in the moments they’ve felt the most loved and cared for.
My goal? To photograph your life as it feels — warm, fun, real, and just a little bit magical.

My Work Style

Think of me less as a photographer, and more like a quiet observer with a camera — chasing light, laughter, and the little moments you didn’t even know you wanted captured. I take a documentary-style approach, which means I’m not here for perfection — I’m here for you being fully present, messy hair, belly laughs, and all. I’ll gently guide you as much as you need me — or hang back if you’re in your groove — creating a space where you can relax and just be yourself.

This laid-back, playful style helps kids stay themselves, puts couples at ease, and makes every session feel more like a fun adventure than a formal photo shoot. And while I absolutely love capturing candid, unscripted moments, I also make sure to get those classic, beautifully composed portraits that everyone wants to frame.
